Well, the brand name "café saphil", was created with my dad's grand father and my dad's grand mother!  His name was "Sajot", and her name was "Philibee"... So it all started, SAPHIL !!
A familly business that in the north of france at the time, during the 2nd world war, had to stop it's activity !!! They left Dieppe for the south of france where there was a "free zone", then later came back to dieppe to start again!!! The shop back then was more a "grocery" shop, as big supermarkets didn't existed back then!! Coffee roasting was a big part of it, and towards the end of the century, when the town was full of supermarkets,  coffee, tea, and wine were the last things sold in the shop.......
